Land Conservation Projects
Magickal Oaks
Magickal Oaks is a beautiful stand of mature hardwood trees with ferns on a newly protected 20-acre conservation property near Ocala National Forest in Florida. In partnership with the Putnam Land Conservancy, we have donated a conservation easement on this critical wildlife habitat falling within the Florida Wildlife Corridor. In addition to conserving the land, we are demonstrating permaculture living practices to regenerate the earth's natural resources. Our projects at Magickal Oaks include rainwater and solar energy harvesting, sustainable food/medicine forest and off-grid eco-friendly habitats.
Lotus Woods
Natural Fernery and Food Forest
Lotus Woods is a 30-acre stand of mature hardwood trees with ferns and wetlands near Ocala National Forest in the Florida Wildlife Corridor. We are practicing regenerative agriculture to transform this land to an ecologically productive farm and wildlife refuge. Furthermore, we are planning to develop this site as a certified Florida Gopher Tortoise relocation refuge.
